In early 2010, Keith Copher formed KMC, Inc. for the purpose of using his years of experience in gaming, both on the regulatory and industry sides, to assist casino operators and manufacturers/distributors to meet gaming regulatory requirements. Mr. Copher served 25 years with the Nevada Gaming Control Board where he was involved in conducting and supervising background investigations for applicants for Nevada Gaming Licenses. In 1996, Mr. Copher was promoted to Chief of Enforcement where he was in charge of 130 employees, including 98 sworn law enforcement officers, in offices located in five cities spread across Nevada. The Enforcement Division was responsible for investigating regulatory violations by gaming licensees and criminal gaming violations against the licensees and patrons. Following retirement from the Gaming Control Board, Mr. Copher was president of a technological testing company responsible for testing the gaming industries systems to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations including Sarbanes Oxley 404. Mr. Copher also served as Senior Vice President of a Manufacturer and Distributor of Gaming Devices, in which he had hands on experience in licensing, and shipment of gaming equipment and software. Mr. Copher now consults for those companies and others. Mr. Copher has spoken internationally at gaming conferences and seminars, and has appeared on television documentaries regarding cheating at gambling and enforcement of gaming laws and regulations.
