Christopher L. Kaempfer is a senior partner of the law firm Kaempfer Crowell Renshaw Gronauer & Fiorentino (the “Firm”) and the founder of the Firm's well-recognized and distinguished Land Use and Government Relations Department. Mr. Kaempfer has been practicing land use law in Nevada for over 30 years and has personally argued precedent setting land use cases in both state and federal court. As a result of his efforts, and those of his fellow partners, the Firm is also recognized as Nevada's top law firm for land use and zoning law in The Best Lawyers in America® .


Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Kaempfer clerked in the United States District Court for the Honorable Judge Roger D. Foley. He later served as District Council for the State of Nevada for the United States Small Business Administration. In 1977, he joined the law firm of Vargas & Bartlett becoming a partner in 1982. He was a partner at Vargas & Bartlett until the establishment of Kummer Kaempfer Bonner & Renshaw in 1994. Mr. Kaempfer was a founding shareholder of that firm. In 2009 the firm became Kaempfer Crowell Renshaw Gronauer & Fiorentino.
