GORDON SILVER


As Chairman of the Gaming and Administrative Law Department of Gordon Silver, Jeffrey A. Silver served as a former Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney in the White Collar Crimes Division and was the resident member in charge of the Las Vegas office for the Nevada State Gaming Control Board during the State's tumultuous period of developing regulatory oversight. He also held positions at various resort hotels such as COO and General Counsel for the Landmark Hotel & Casino, President of the Riviera Hotel & Casino, and Sr. Vice President of Marketing for Caesars Palace.


Mr. Silver has published articles in journals sponsored by many organizations (i.e. IAGA and the American Bar Association) and has spoken at numerous IAGA, ABA, State Bar Associations' and Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants' conferences and has testified before the Nevada Legislature and U.S. Congressional sub-committees on gaming law matters. He is authorized to practice law before all Nevada courts, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court for Nevada and the United States Supreme Court. A long-time Nevadan, he is closely involved in community and civic affairs.
