Thomas M. Roche is the Partner in charge of Ernst & Young’s Global Gaming Practice and the Managing Partner of the firm’s Las Vegas office. He has over 25 years of experience in the Gaming Industry.
Tom was appointed by Governor Robert J. Miller as one of the three members of the Nevada Gaming Control Board in October 1989. As the "CPA" member of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Tom was in charge of the Audit Division which conducts internal control compliance and tax revenue audits of Nevada's 250 plus licensees and the New Games Laboratory which approves the adequacy of the design, security and technical integrity of slot machines and other gaming devices.
Since becoming a partner in 1993, Tom has served as the coordinating partner in practically every major gaming company. Clients where he has served in this capacity include: MGM MIRAGE, Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., Wynn Resorts, Limited, and Station Casinos.
