Carol Goldstein, cultural planning consultant, is an urban planner involved in program design and strategic planning for cultural and community infrastructure. As a consultant to more than 40 non-profit organizations, funders, planning and advocacy groups and public agencies, Goldstein develops initiatives from concept formulation through implementation and evaluation. For the city of Las Vegas, Goldstein co-authored the 2004 feasibility and adaptive use study for The Mob Museum. From 2004-2005, she served as the museum's interim project manager. From 2006-2008, she was project director during its early planning phase. She has been a faculty member of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Public Affairs since 1987 and teaches urban planning, cultural planning, land use and historic preservation.
